Our Mission

The mission of Iğdır University Nursing Department is to train nurses who are equipped with scientific knowledge and practices, who think critically and are sensitive to social health problems in order to increase the quality of health care services. We provide our students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to provide the highest standards in nursing practice. We also provide them with experience through clinical and professional practices to support them in adapting more easily to their professional lives.

Our goal is to ensure that our graduates are equipped to respond effectively and empathetically to the health needs of individuals, families and communities in accordance with professional ethics. We also encourage continuous development and learning to enable our graduates to assume leadership roles in the health field, both nationally and internationally.

Our Vision

Iğdır University Department of Nursing aims to be an educational institution that aims to train nationally and internationally recognized, leader and innovative nurses in the field of health. Our vision is to play a leading role in protecting and developing the health of individuals, families and societies by prioritizing the scientific and ethical standards of the nursing profession. In this direction, continuously improving the quality of education, following innovations in technology and science and guiding developments in the field of health are among our most important goals.
