Iğdır University Department of Nursing has an expert and experienced faculty in their field. A total of 10 faculty members, including 3 assistant professors, 2 assistant professors and 5 research assistants, provide education to students in basic nursing courses and areas of expertise. Courses such as "Fundamentals of Nursing", "Internal Medicine Nursing", "Surgical Diseases Nursing", "Child Health and Diseases Nursing", "Mental Health and Diseases Nursing", "Management in Nursing" and "Public Health Nursing" are offered by faculty members/staff who are experts in these areas.

Thanks to the Education Model implemented in our department, professional practice courses are given in the 8th semester so that students can gain skills for the business world before graduation. This process allows nurse candidates to learn the conditions of business life and increase their professional knowledge and equipment.
